SOL Stars September 2018 - Welcome to Support for Ordinary Living (SOL)

Karolina Magiera

Karolina has demonstrated hard work and commitment to the person she works for and has made a big difference to this young person’s life. Working alongside SOL’s senior management and social work, Karolina has been instrumental in introducing a new Polish person to SOL. She has been able to make the planning process smoother and less stressful for the family by acting as a translator for them. The work that Karolina has undertaken is hugely appreciated by her colleagues, the person she works for, their family and the organisation. Well done Karolina

Donna Bruce

Donna is one of the most positive and friendliest people you will meet. She is always on hand to help her colleagues and has a tremendous work ethic.

When faced with a challenge she meets it head on and she does it with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She takes her role as the Quality Checkers Co-ordinator very seriously as she believes every person we work for should have a voice in the organisation and their opinions, no matter if they are positive or not so positive, should be heard.

She’s also the life and soul of the party, usually helping to organise them then enjoying them to the max. She’s also been known to give an impromptu rendition of ‘I left my heart in San Francisco’!

Thank you for being you Donna!
