We are delighted to announce, having recently received our latest Care Inspectorate report, that our scores are the best the organisation has ever achieved.

The Care Inspectorate use a 6 point grading system:
6 – excellent
5 – very good
4 – good
3 – adequate
2 – weak
1 – unsatisfactory

We were graded on the three separate areas from the Care Standards guidelines and the scores we received were:

6 – Quality of Care and Support
5 – Quality of Staffing
5 – Quality of Management and Leadership

The Care Inspectorate grades all organisations against three separate areas and gives an overall scores for each section. We are assessed against two quality statements per section and each organisation is given a score for each statement. In total we received four grade 6’s and two grade 5’s.

These scores are excellent news for us and it further highlights that we provide good quality support, we are true to our values and that we put the people we work for at the centre of everything we do. I would like to stress that this is only possible because of the fantastic staff that SOL has.
