We recently attended The Gathering at the SECC in Glasgow and we used our stand to promote our use of assistive technology through SOL Connect.
The Gathering showcases the work being done by Scotland’s third sector. It’s a place where organisations and individuals can come together and promote their work and learn from each other in a friendly and welcoming environment. It was The Gatherings 10th ‘birthday’ and we were really happy that we could take part in their special celebration.
The SOL/SOL Connect stand was well attended over both days of the event with a lot of people interested in seeing how we can link separate pieces of technology, such as the Pivotell medication dispenser or one of our pressure sensors, to our SOL Connect hubs.
SOL Connect Manager Laura Doidge commented “It was another successful year for us at The Gathering. We had the pleasure of demonstrating some of our unique and bespoke technology to a wide range of people. For the past two years we have found The Gathering to be a great place to connect with so many different people and show them how they can use our range of assistive technology.”
From everybody at SOL and SOL Connect we would like to thank our friends at The Gathering for putting on another great event and we look forward to next year. Thanks also to everybody who visited our stand and expressed an interest in our ground-breaking technology.
