We believe that the greatest risk in life is to risk nothing.

Too often people with disabilities are overprotected and prevented from taking ordinary risks that lead to better outcomes. Our approach is to listen to what people want to do and then explore, alongside people and their families, what the risks might be. We work together to find ways to make these risks safer.

We also explore what risks are involved in not doing something – what might happen if the person is prevented from doing what they want to do in life? Our approach is always about how we can make something happen, it’s not about finding all the reasons why its too risky.
