Home Care Team Leader

  • Lanarkshire Area
  • £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (Dependant on Qualifications and Experience)
  • Full-time

If you are passionate about ensuring that individuals receive the best support they need to live the life they want then Support for Ordinary Living (SOL) is the place for you.

We are currently recruiting for a Home Care Team Leader to join our Supported Living team.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of our ‘home care’ type service called the Mobile Support Service. We are looking for an energetic and organised individual with experience in the social care field to develop the service further. The service supports people who have a learning and/or physical disability at key points of the day with things like personal care, medication, meals, and light housework. You will be expected to spend time with the people we support assessing their needs and also assisting with their support as part of your role.

The successful candidate will be able to provide leadership to the team of mobile support workers, working closely with the staff to ensure we provide the highest quality care and support to the people we work for.

In addition to this, you will work in partnership with our Technology Enabled Care Service to develop a flexible on-demand care and support service in North Lanarkshire.

Although SOL base is located in Wishaw, we are currently working on a blended model of home/office working. To conduct this role, you will require to have a clean driving licence and access to a car as travel throughout Lanarkshire would be an expectation of the post as you will be expected to undertake home visits.
