William and Jim, accompanied by Jake and Lee, enjoyed a canal boat cruise on the Forth and Clyde Canal courtesy of the Seagull Trust. The Seagull Trust do free canal cruising in Scotland for people with support needs.

The guys were on the ‘Govan Seagull’ for a two-hour trip which headed towards Edinburgh. They picked the boat up at Falkirk. The guys enjoyed seeing the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. The boat goes at 4 miles per hour and they enjoyed the leisurely pace. There was a lot of wildlife to see and they enjoyed it so much they have booked to go back for a full day trip that will also take them on the Falkirk Wheel. They enjoyed a wee cup of tea and a biscuit during the cruise.

The Seagull Trust is run by volunteers and is funded by donations and sales from the shop. If anyone is interested in booking one of the cruises then please contact 07722 342913 or e-mail:falkirkbooking@seagulltrustcruises.org.uk
