Finance

     Julie Duff

The finance and ICT team is led by Julie Duff. Julie is the Finance and ICT Manager for SOL.
The team consists of an Individual Service Fund Coordinator, an Accounts Assistant, an Office Facilities Coordinator and a volunteer ICT Worker.
The team provides all of the financial and ICT information at an individual service level and also globally for the organisation as a whole.

 

HR Admin/ General Admin

    Jane Ward

Jane Ward, the Assistant HR Manager oversees both the Administration and HR Administration functions and has responsibility for the day to day line management of the four HR Administration Assistants.

Each of the four Circles of Good Practice within SOL has a dedicated HR Administrative Assistant who provides their particular Circle with all required administrative support. This support includes preparation of Contracts of Employment, administration of recruitment and selection, administration of employee learning and development and various other relevant HR Admin tasks. 

 

Communications

Frances McKay, the Communication Development Worker (CDW) is involved in the production of communication tools which support people with learning difficulties to be better understood. The development of “Communication Passports” are continuous within SOL, involving the person and staff in the creation. The use of multimedia has also helped take this work to a visual interactive level and has been successful in promoting individuality, confidence and independence. 

 

Workforce and Learning Development

SOL’s work force is their greatest asset. Our staff either deliver support or provide a whole range of support functions to those that do.
SOL’s staff have the knowledge, skills and commitment to make the changes that are needed to improve services provided by SOL.
It is only right then that we should devote time and energy to planning our future workforce needs and invest in our staff’s continuous development, this is our role as
Workforce Development Coordinator and Learning Development Coordinator
